Dori Stern is a senior majoring in psychology and minoring in Hebrew. She enjoys playing guitar, listening to soul music, hanging out in Hillel Lounge, and going to BaRuCH events. You can find her singing with Voices Of Praise, Brandeis's gospel choir, with the great two person group, Dorchua, or sometimes even with the amazing three-person group, Country Life Press. She has been involved in BaRuCH since freshman year, holding the positions of First Year Representative and Tefillah Coordinator. She is extremely excited to be Coordinator this year.

Leah Hartman, Social Events Coordinator

Picture
Leah Hartman is a senior from San Francisco. She spent her last semester in Amman, Jordan so please interrupt her if she starts talking about Arabic grammar. She loves the outdoors, especially bonfires, doesn't respect authority, and has too many scarves. Her favorite pursuit is social justice activism. Come to her house on Charles Street for Shabat dinner (or any dinner), probably made with food from the local farmer's market. She's been part of BaRuCH since freshman year and is excited to take on social events.

Rebecca DeHovitz, Publicity Coordinator

Picture
Rebecca DeHovitz is a sophomore at Brandeis, and is very excited about her first year on BaRuCH board!  Hailing from Palo Alto, California, Rebecca braved the Boston winter last year and fell in love with Brandeis.  Though her major is undeclared Rebecca enjoys taking classes in Spanish, NEJS and Education.  In her free time Rebecca likes to be with her friends and do Jewish things, so BaRuCH is perfect for her!  On campus Rebecca is also involved in Brandeis Interfaith Group, Waltham Group and Top Score.

Maddie Barr, Tzedek Coordinator

Picture
Maddie Barr is a senior at Brandeis this year. She has been involved in the happy BaRuCH
community since her freshman year, and is excited to be social action coordinator once
again. Maddie is an environmental studies major who enjoys practicing Spanish, playing
rugby, trying to grow flowers and basil plants in stuffy dorm rooms, and conversations
with new people.

Gabe Distler, Finance Coordinator

Picture
Gabe Distler is a junior majoring in history. Born in Boston, and raised in Boca Raton, Florida, Gabe is glad to be back in Massachusetts. His interests range from all Boston sports teams to classic movies to politics.  On campus Gabe serves as vice-president of Brandeis Democrats.  He has been a member of BaRuCH since freshman year and thanks his hometown congregation, Temple Beth El, for cultivating his commitment to Jewish life.  This is Gabe’s second term as finance coordinator.

Ben Lovenheim, First Year Rep

Picture
Ben Lovenheim is a first-year studying philosophy, psychology, economics, education, and everything else he can get his hands on. As a songleader, music is his favorite part of reform Judaism. Ben hopes you'll come sing a song or two with him at a BaRuCH event!
